Design Narrative
The inspiration for this project came from the Univers type style and theme that revolves around the type. The promotional material used for the original Univers typeface utilized a periodic table to exemplify the large amount of variations within the Univers typeface family. In spirit with the scientific ekements of the typeface, I used a synthetic-chemistry theme to create a stark and geometric aesthetic that compliments the Univers Next Pro typeface. The color was used in limited amounts to accentuate the individual chapters. Distinct iconography was used to designate individual themes to each section.
